Sermon Title: Reaping The Harvest of Lost Souls

Sermon Text: Matthew 9:36-38 (NIV)

36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.

38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

POINT 1
ONLY WHAT HAS BEEN SOWN WILL BE REAPED.
Galatians 6:7  Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

POINT 2
IF YOU ARE SOWING AND REAPING YOU HAVE ALSO WAITED.
Genesis 8:22  As long as the earth endures there will be seedtime and harvest…

POINT 3
YOUR SOW SEASON IS DIFFERENT THAN YOUR REAP SEASON…
Galatians 6:7  Do not be deceived:  God cannot be mocked.  A man reaps what he sows.

LIFE APPLICATION
·       Ask God to lead you to the harvest
·       Don’t expect growth over night
·       Don’t give up while waiting
·      You will always reap more than you sow
