Text: 1 Corinthians 3:6
I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.POINT 1 - Growth requires HUNGER.
Deuteronomy 8:3 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
3 He humbled you and let you be hungry, and fed you with manna which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that He might make you understand that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord.
POINT 2 - Growth in GOD will CHANGE your MIND.
Romans 12:2 New International Version (NIV)
2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
POINT 3 - Growth in GOD requires GROWTH in SANCTIFICATION.
1 Thessalonians 5:23 New International Version (NIV)
23 May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
LIFE APPLICATION
POINT 2 - Growth in GOD will CHANGE your MIND.
